Situated in 20 acres of picturesque and peaceful farmland. Aldin Grange boasts five well stocked lakes brimming with fish - two trout (fly only), two coarse and one competition (match). Our coarse lakes contain 5 types of Carp, Crucian, Common, Mirror, Ghost and F1’s, Tench, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Bream, Chub, Orfe, Ide and Barbel. Carp weigh from 8oz to 20lb. Barbless hooks only! - ground bait must be in feeder or pole cup. The fishery is open from 7am till dusk (9pm). 2 rods in winter, 1 rod during spring/summer - dates and information posted. Our Trout Fishing Lakes (Troutmaster Water) are fly only (barbless). There are three types of trout - Rainbow, Brown and Blue Trout. Only the Rainbow Trout may be killed and taken. The Trout vary in size from the smaller 1lb fish to the larger 15lb fish. The lakes all have easy maintained access with help on site which is ideal for disabled and elderly anglers. All pegs have a solid stable marked out base with regularly maintained vegetation. The site has a car park, toilets, fishing lodge, hot and cold meals, drinks facilities, microwave, on-site bait plus farm shop. Matches are well catered for on our competition lake and corporate days are also available.
