The largest carp in the lake are currently reaching 28lb, the average size though is 10-15lbs. It's not uncommon for people to be catching 20lb+ carp though. Other species are also stocked such as tench to 5lb, crucian carp to 5lb and perch to over 4lb. This lake caters for both specimen hunters and pleasure anglers.

This gravel pit is 2.7 acres in size within the Ulting countryside, its depth ranges from 3ft-14ft with an average of 7ft. The facility has toilets on site and swims for disabled anglers. Night fishing is allowed on the venue providing that you have a valid permit. 

This fishery is managed by the Chelmsford angling association.
