Railway Lakes comprises of two lakes covering 2.5 acres. The first lake being the largest and deepest, with depths dropping to 35 feet. The main stock in this lake is carp which have been caught up to 30lb plus. Popular baits on the deep lake are pastes and sweetcorn but maggots will catch carp up in the water in the summer. The shallow lake is smaller but houses a huge amount of fish including tench, bream, roach, rudd and perch and carp from a few ounces to well into double figures.
