A charming little pond in a nice rural setting in Hampshire's countryside. There are a variety of fish in the lake, including Ghost Koi Carp that can grow to over 25 pounds, and two small islands that serve as unique attractions.
It's probable that Roach, Rudd, Perch, Bream, and Tench will be caught at Winchfield, one of the Society's newest holdings.
Perseverance is required in this fishery, which is plagued by high vegetation and an abundance of lilies.
While fishing for the stock of approximately 30 Ghost Carp weighing 14lb or more and up to 31lb 0oz, as well as the occasional Mirror Carp that cruise around the two islands and the lily pads, along with some Roach and the occasional Tench and even a few Pike to 15lb, this picturesque pond provides an enjoyable setting.
This is one of the most interesting ways to fish for the Koi Carp, but be sure your tackle can handle the challenge of retrieving these fish from vegetation.
