This spring-fed natural pool is said to have Carp up to 30 pounds. Although the top lake looks to have tiddlers and nice carp, it is a weedy mess. The middle lake is the biggest, although it is surrounded by enormous lily beds, with just two swims on opposite sides of the road. Tench may be found in the swim to the left (viewed from the road). A handful of swims to the left of the lake along the road provide good handicapped access. It should be rewarding if you are a committed Carp or Tench fisherman. Parking is easy to come by on the road near the middle pond or at the A233 car park.
