Please note that this lake is privately owned. Sheepy Lake is approximately 8.5 acres of water placed in a wonderful & picturesque setting in the traditional English countryside. Several years ago the lake was dredged removing a vast amount of silt and was subsequently restocked with an abundance of fish. Sheepy Lake is available to fish all year round and has 56 pegs around approximately 8.5 acres of water. The lake has recently been dredged removing a vast amount of silt and restocked with bream and carp, some of which have grown up to 30 Lbs! The lake has excellent facilities available; a lovely café ('Sheepy Shack'), toilet, ample parking and several disabled pegs. Not only does a ticket allow fishing of the lake but also allows for fishing in 400m of the River Sense which runs parallel to the lake at no extra cost.
