The Whetstone Gorse Fishing Lakes are located on the Willoughby Road between the villages of Countesthorpe and Willoughby Waterleys. Locally referred to as "Phase 2," the location consists of two lakes, one mixed and one carp. Parking is provided for up to 50 vehicles. Throughout the summer, toilets are also provided.

Anglers with disabilities are most welcome; campsites are provided near the car park. If you request the combination to the lock, you may get entry to your car and drop off your tackle at the designated peg. However, please keep in mind that automobiles must be returned to the parking lot after fishing.
