Fishing of the lake and river is permitted to the private syndicate members and leisure break visitors for an additional fee per day. The lake is stocked with an array of fish including Mirror, Common, Leather and Ghost Carp, with recent catches of 38lb (Big Betty) as well as Bream, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Eel and Pike. The river catches include Chub, Bream and Carp.
