This lake is located in Hastings, East Sussex's Alexandra Park. The lake covers around 4 acres and is 16 feet deep.

Since the year 2000, the reservoir has seen the arrival of some fast-growing carp that have really put on weight, with several of these fish now weighing more than 20 pounds and many surpassing the coveted 30-pound threshold. Over a period of 15 years, we have stocked 67 different carp, all of which have shown amazing growth rates. We have stockings planned for the following three years (2015–16, 2016–17, and 2017–18) as well, in order to further enhance the water.

The first stockings were made using fish from Marc Simmonds, and subsequent stockings were made with fish from the men at VS Fisheries. Along with some hot commons, the VS stockings had some gorgeous scaley mirrors; two of them are currently approaching 30 pounds!

The lake is home to many Pike, Rudd, Roach, Eels, Perch, and Bream that weigh over 6 lbs. in addition to the carp. The water might be challenging at times, but with a little effort, results are possible.

Non-members may buy day tickets from the bailiff. Association members have access to night fishing; a night ticket must be acquired from one of the ticket officers and costs only £2 for a night, which is a fantastic deal given the quantity of fish available. Tickets are available at Wobbly Rabbit in Bexhill on Sea and AR Tackle in Hastings.

Since the 2015–16 season, we've provided a membership for this lake that includes night fishing so you can avoid having to go out and buy a ticket every time you want to fish at night and instead simply call and make a reservation for yourself. This £95 ticket covers all the waterways that the typical membership would cover, as well as all of your night fishing. The only place to purchase this membership is at AR Tackle.

A disabled-friendly swim is already present at the lake's St Helens Road entrance, and plans call for the construction of four further swims by the end of 2015 to increase accessibility and comfort for anglers.
