Boringwheel Trout Fishery is situated in the heart of the beautiful Ashdown Forest, just off the A22 at Nutley. This 400 year old spring-fed lake offers 6 1/2 acres of peace and tranquillity for the discerning trout fisherman. A second lake of the Boringwheel Trout Fishery has been set aside for brown trout only. You can fish from the bank, from the well-maintained wooden fishing stages, or you can use boats free of charge. Boringwheel resources include two holiday cottages, a mini golf course, corporate entertainment facilities, refreshment provisions and toilet/washroom. Stocking is carried out every two weeks at both lakes, at the ratio of 100 fish per acre which means the fish levels never fall below 650 trout.
