Fens Pools nature reserve is located near Dudley and Brierley Hill in the West Midlands. Fens Pool site is primarily a nature reserve, however, angling is well established and is a highly valued informal activity. The three large pools and adjoining canal have excellent fish stocks, including some very large pike and carp.A close season operates from the 15th March to the 15th June each year and fishing is not permitted during that period.There are two types of angling permit: Standard - Annual £16.50, Concessionary - Applicants must show that they are unwaged, e.g college identity card, pension book - Annual £8.50.
