DAY TICKET LAKE
is now well established and has become increasingly popular to many anglers. The lake is extensively stocked with all species of coarse fish, including superb barbel and plenty of large carp to 20lbs. Night fishing is possible, but strictly by prior arrangement only. From 1st May 2011 a day ticket costs just £6.00 for 1 rod, with any extra rods (max 3) at £2.00 each.
SPECIMEN LAKE
established in 1993, has shown a steady growth rate in the original fish that were stocked. The grass carp, introduced in 1994, has provided the fishery with what turn out to be the biggest of its species in Yorkshire! There are now a common, mirror and a grass carp all over 30lbs! Advance booking is essential as there are only 8 pegs and we are kept busy, especially at weekends! Book early to avoid disappointment! 3 rods are allowed and from 1st May 2011 prices are £15 per day; £20 for 24 hours and £35 for 48 hours. Longer sessions are negotiable, with a weekly booking costing only £110.00.
