The Larkfield Complex, formerly known as Leybourne, is steeped in carp and tench fishing heritage, having been created as fisheries for decades. The venue is divided into four major lakes: Road and Island Lake, Railway Lake, Lake No. 2, and The Ocean. The lakes are home to carp weighing up to 56lb and several fish weighing 30lb and 40lb more. Additionally, they contain a large number of tench, well into double figures. Mid Kent Fisheries manages this facility. New applicants must submit two passport-size pictures, full payment of the application fee, a completed application form, proof of age (if junior), and a copy of their Blue Badge (if disabled). Dogs are permitted on the Larkfield Complex if they are kept on a leash.
