Situated in the centre of the market town of Pickering at the foot of the North York Moors National Park, Pickering Trout Lake is an established one acre game fishery adjacent to the North York Moors steam railway.
The fishery is primarily geared toward the first time or novice fisher but does also cater for the more experienced visitor.
The lake is nominally split into two areas, one end for bait fishing and the other for those fly fishing.
A short walk from the town centre there is ample parking on site for those arriving by car.
