A rarely fished region characterised by deep, leisurely glides with patches of quick shallow water thrown in for good measure. Because there are few set pegs, a wandering approach is best. Brown trout are sometimes caught. Chub, grayling, and good-sized dace abound; barbel are there but difficult to locate.
