Yeadon Tarn is located in Yeadon near Leeds. The biggest problem with this lake, which spans 19.1 acres, is the fact that it is a shared venue with the local boating club. As such on weekends and early evening Tuesday/Wednesday the water gets very busy with sailboats. There is easy access to all pegs, with a tarmacadam path leading round the whole of the tarn. This also causes the problem of walkers. With the water being set within easy access of Yeadon, coupled with the low day ticket price, the water tends to get busy with school kids during the holidays. The lake is stocked with a good head of carp, with the odd bigger ones pulled out every now and again. Carp are present to over 20lbs in the water, roach and perch upto 2lb+. The lake is fairly shallow and tends to fish a lot better when the weather gets hot. The main tactic on this lake tends to be concentrated on catching on the bottom.
