The lake runs below and parallel to the inner sea wall and stretches from near Beach Road and ends at the Coastal Park Boundary towards Heacham.
Vehicle access is provided in summer months, when ground conditions permit alongside the lake, with a combination key provided to access the gate.
The fishery consists of a 1 mile long reed fringed channel, beginning 350 meters from the entrance gate, averaging about 12 meters wide, some areas are nearly impenetrable, followed by lengths of canal depth around 4-5ft,
which then open out into attractive lagoons depth 5-7ft, of which there are several.
Huge numbers of tench, roach and rudd and a few carp present.
