Brooklands is a 28-acre former sand and gravel pit that is surrounded by forests and reeds and averages 14 feet in depth. The lake, as well as the surrounding plants and wildlife, are very rich in natural food. Our three-year stocking effort was completed this winter, and photographs of the fish introduced may be viewed at the clubhouse at Brooklands or on our website. Numerous carp over 40lb are present, as are pike up to 38lb, tench up to 14lb, bream up to 14lb, eels up to 8lb+, perch up to 4lb, rudd and roach.
This lake contains 28 swims, each of which provides enough fishing area and amenities. Each swim has been thoughtfully planned and constructed to maximize the fishing and weather protection potential of its location. Around nearly three sides of the lake, you may park just by your rods while also concealing your car to guarantee that the view for your fellow fishermen on the opposing banks is not obstructed. Vehicle entrance is controlled by a gate to which each member is assigned a key.
