This fishery contains one of the largest carp in the entire country with it being caught at a staggering 57lb, which is why it has hit our top spot for fishing spots Cheshire. The fishery contains a wide variety of species such as Pike (up to 31lb), Tench, Perch, Roach, Bream, and Carp. Prebaiting swims is only allowed during the open fishing season. 

The fishery also caters for pleasure/match anglers with matches being organized via the rangers office.
