We are located on the boundary of four counties: Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Cheshire, and Lancashire, and are just 20-30 minutes away from three cities: Sheffield, Stockport, and Manchester. Arnfield Fly Fishery is located in the charming Derbyshire town of Tintwistle, surrounded by stunning Peak District scenery and, most importantly, some of the greatest still water traditional dry and wet fly fishing in the UK.
Rainbow, brown and blue trout up to 20 pounds are frequently supplied in the fishery. All of the fish are quality, fully finned, and excellent fighters.
All of the fish are quality, fully finned, and excellent fighters. The fly fishery is 40 acres in size, so it's not too tiny, but it's also not too huge and intimidating. The lake is the perfect size for learning the skill of fly fishing while also allowing you to walk around and fish amid the natural wildlife that regularly visits our water.
The water has a PH of 7.2, which encourages a variety of native fly species. There are eleven 15-foot Loch Lomond boats available for hire, as well as a 900-meter solid tree line swim with fly life falling into the jaws of ravenous fish.
The facilities were designed specifically to accommodate fly fishermen and any visitors they may bring. Corporate group days are also available, so why not reserve the water for a fun day of fishing with your coworkers?
