Each of the three lakes is distinctive and offers something for anglers of all skill levels.
Both Withy and Bridge Pools, which were created with the aid of a large Lottery Grant, have a natural appearance as well as a reputation for some of the greatest fishing in the area owing to the tireless efforts of the club's members. Thousands of trees were planted on the hills overlooking the lakes, enhancing the overall appearance.
The fishery's 115 well-spaced and pleasant swims are easily accessible from the parking lot that borders the lakes.
The lake, which is over 5 acres in size, has long been known for its excellent fishing, with a focus on huge carp. The current club record carp was caught in this lake. Carp up to 40 pounds may be caught here, and many fishermen have accomplished their personal bests.
Tench ranging in size from 4 to 6 pounds can be found in the lake, although they are difficult to catch.
As well as pike up to 22lbs, there are Bream over 8lbs and roach up to 134lbs.
There are 41 individually designed and constructed comfy swims or platforms to choose from.
There are two islands in Withy Pool, which is roughly 3 acres in size. This lake is dominated by carp, and there are lots of doubles and even a few twenty-ones in the water. The carp are extremely aggressive and will put any tackle to the test. New rigs and baits can be tested here. Fishing is easy on 40 platforms, some of which are specifically designed for handicapped or elderly fisherman.
To 22lbs+, Bream up to 6lbs, Roach 2lb and Perch 3lbs+.
Over 2 acres in area, the Bridge Pool has a variety of amenities, including three islands. Every fisherman may fish from 34 well-spaced wooden platforms, some of which are more suited for handicapped or older fishermen.
This is a top-notch match lake that may be rented.
A 7lb Bream with a 2lb+ Roach - Small chub, tench, and rudd. - Perch to 3lbs. To a few pounds, stockies to more than 5 pounds, and the huge creatures as well.
