Salmonhutch Fishery lies in the valley of the River Yeo, about one mile south of Crediton, Devon. The fishery consists of three lakes approximately one acre each which provide fishing for carp, rudd and tench in clear spring fed water.The quality of the water encourages rich aquatic growth and an ideal environment for the fish. There is a large on site car park for anglers use.The water enjoys a high reputation for the quality of fish and fishing with an additional attraction of no closed season. The Island pond form the specimen water containing the largest of our Mirror and Common Carp. The Rosemary pond if the family pond which provides easier fishing, there is also a concrete path alongside the pond for our wheelchair users.Finally the Western pond, a more challenging water with mix of size and species. The best nets are Common Carp (20lb 2oz), Mirror Carp (24lb 12oz), and Tench (5lb).
