The fingers lake is a day ticket water and it is part of the conservation area.
Fishing is mainly on the eastern lake, with some swims accessed via a steep bank and others are on a spit of land, making them a quiet place to fish.
There is also a narrow grass area between this lake and the river, which is frequented by dog walkers as it links to one of the meadows - this may be best avoided if you do not like dogs!
If you catch a Zander in this lake please return it to the river!
