Sopley Carp Lake is a former gravel pit about 10 acres in size. It used to be run by Ringwood and District AA but now it is a dan and night ticket venue offering coarse fishing in a quite surroundings.Sopley Lake contains commons and mirrors up to 30lbs but there are some good shoals of bream to 7lbs, roach to 2lbs 8oz and rudd to 1lb 8oz so there's a
lot more to the lake than just carp.
Also tench which are regularly caught around the 4lb mark and golden
orfe to 2lbs 8oz, Sopley Carp Lake offers plenty of opportunties for
both specimen and pleasure anglers.
