Rockells Farm is situated in the heart of the Essex countryside. A working arable farm for more than 30 years it provides a place of peace and tranquilty to rest and relax and unwind from the stresses of life. Rockells Farm is home to a 3 acre lake that is heavily stocked with Carp, Tench. This mature lake is stream fed and is surrounded by weeping willows and lots of trees. This peaceful, idealic location for one of the best course fisheries in the country. The average fish for most of our visitors is around 3lb. The lake is situated at the bottom of the large garden. It was excavated approximately 35 years ago. It is now surrounded by, mature weeping willows, firs and rushes. There are 27 swims on the lake, but only 24 are fishable. This is due to the water only being 5 inches deep. Platforms around the lake provide excellent coarse fishing facilities. Disabled Anglers are very welcome! The lake is stocked mainly with, Carp to 26 lb. Tench to 4.5 lb. A good head of Roach, Rudd and Chub, which makes interesting winter fishing.
