In the lovely settings of the quiet Norfolk countryside, Rocklands Mere Fishery provides both trout and coarse fishing. The trout lake is stocked on a regular basis with exceptionally hard-fighting rainbow and brown trout that may reach up to 8 pounds due to the catch and release policy. During the spring and summer months, the lake is known for its alder and sedge hatches, which provide excellent surface fishing. The former mere is surrounded by lush woods and is a wildlife sanctuary. The lake's shores are home to kingfishers, barn owls, and water voles. Carp, tench, crucians, perch, roach, and rudd are among the species that reach specimen size.
