Bream, tench, and roach may be found at Shepherds Lake.
Bear Lake: A tiny carp lake named after the former Secretary, with a healthy population of carp ranging in size from a few ounces to 15 pounds. Also present were Roach and Rudd. Carp have been observed all winter, but they are most popular in the summer.
Stanton's Lake is a shallow lake with large bream, carp, skimmers, and roach.
Bream are frequently caught on the feeder, while skimmers and roach are enticed by the waggler and pole. Roaches respond best to hemp and bread flakes.
The cost of a KLAA Silver membership is £56. (2012 prices). Tickets are only available to members and are not available on a day-to-day basis (The Beach Club next door now sells weekly and yearly licenses.)
