The well stocked 65 acre main Colwick Lake is a popular trout fishing lake that boasts both rainbow and brown trout. Fishing is available from boats (available for hire) or the bank. Season, 7-day, day, 4-hour and sporting tickets are available.The Colwick trout season runs from 17th March to 21st October 2012, with a possible extension until 1st January 2013 to be confirmed.
