Rib Valley Fishing Lakes is a mixed fly and coarse fishery located near Ware, adjacent to the river Rib in Hertfordshire. The Fishery comprises three still-water lakes; Rib Lake, Millennium Lake, and Westmill Lake.
Westmill and Rib Lake are open all year.
Millennium Lake, normally the trout lake, contains loads of small mixed siver fish in this lake, but expect to find some larger specimens as well, and ideal for junior fishermen and novices. You may also catch a trout as a bonus and are welcome to take home to eat.
Coarse fish species in all lakes are for pleasure angling only and at no time can be killed and kept by any angler. This includes Carp (Mirror,Commen, Crucian and Ghost), Tench, Bream, Chub, Roach, Rudd, Gudgeon, Pike and Perch. Anyone found doing so will be banned from the fishery and may be subject to prosecution. Disabled friendly toilets are available on site.
