The Clive Vale Angling Club, which was established in 1912 by a local angler in Hastings, East Sussex, is the owner of Saunders Gravel Pit. With eight rivers and four lakes now accessible to its members, Clive Vale has purchased a number of fisheries in the South East throughout the years.
Members get year-round access to fishing in certain of their waterways. Large mirrors and commons, bream, tench, rudd and roach, perch, and eels may all be found at Saunders Gravel Pit. The sides are steep in some places, and the water is deep. 30 anglers are now allowed per day on this body of water. All anglers, from novices to match fishers, are welcome.
All of the neighbourhood tackle stores offer club memberships. When fishing in this body of water, junior anglers must be accompanied by an adult member.
