The Island Fish Farm is a angling complex and trout farm with B&B and self catering accommodation. It is situated 1 mile off the southwest coast of the Isle of Wight between the villages of Shorwell and Brighstone.The fishery offers fishing on 4 separate waters. The main lake is 1 acre and dedicated to fly fishing for Rainbow Trout. Catch and release is allowed but the owners encourage anglers to take their catch by offering a reduced ticket price with the fish charged for by their weight. They also a fish smoking service and freezing facility for anglers on holiday wishing to collect their catch later.The second lake is 0.75 acre with an island of willow trees and offers very good Carp fishing. The 2010 best weights were 26 lbs Mirror Carp and 24 lbs Common Carp with double figure fish caught most days. There are also 2 smaller ponds stocked with mixed coarse fish, ideal for the younger angler or those just wanting more activity.
