The fishery is roughly 3 acres in size and contains some of the largest carp in Essex. The largest known carp goes up to the 50lb mark at the right time of year. There are only a few mirror carp in the lake with the largest reaching over 30lb, the other 2 known mirrors are in the 20's. There is a lot a large head of fish around the double-figure mark which are fastly approaching the 20lb and over the mark. 

If you are a match fishing angler this lake also caters for you with large numbers of tench some being caught over the 10lb mark, roach going over 2lb, eels to over 5lb, perch, and rudd.
