Burwell Brick Pit Fishery is located on a 38-acre site that was once a clay quarry and was closed in 1971.
It is estimated that Burwell Brick Pit Fishery was once a 38-acre clay quarry, but it was shut down in 1971.
Large Carp, Rudd, Perch, and Pike may be found in the area's fisheries. Since taking over the fishery this year, Steve Calder and his colleagues have transformed the formerly overgrown steep-sided quarry into 40 wide but private swims, bordered by reed beds, channels, islands, and deep margins.
Use of up to three rods and any particle bait that has been properly prepared is allowed, as are other common sense guidelines (except peanuts).
A daily fee of £15 is charged for the use of bait boats, which are permitted if utilized in a safe and polite manner. There is no preference between barbless and barbed hooks.
