A new built carp fishing lake in Bideford, North Devon.  We dug & stocked this lake 2 years ago with mainly fast growing, scaley mirror carp.  There are only a handful of common carp at present.

The lake is 1.5 acres. Stocked with 80 carp

In 2 years we have seen some of the carp grow by 11lb! at this rate we hope at least 6 of our fish will break the 30lb mark next season.  This is due to our feeding programme throughout the year.  Even when no one is fishing we continue to feed the carp our house boilies & pellet.  This keeps them interested most of the year.

Our Carp range from 10lb to 30lb with an average of 15lb.  Many of the carp have never been caught so takes are fast & hard.

The lake has one island, plateaus, gravel bars, lily pads and reeds.  The lake was designed & dug by a carp angler for carp anglers.  The depth ranges from just a foot to 9 ft deep so its always worth bring your marker rod.
