There are four lakes available to fish here which all hold a good head of carp that run into mid doubles, although on average the majority of carp caught weigh around the 5lb mark. All lakes have high stocking density which makes them a great place for match fishing plus they also offer good sport for youngsters and novices to the sport. As they are densely stocked, they also offer good sport during the winter months when fishing is generally slow.
The largest lake here is Duck Lake which is around 2 acres in size, has depths of approximately 5ft and has a small island on one side. During the warmer summer months surface baits have proved highly successful for carp.
Middle Lake has similar depths to Duck Lake but is relatively smaller at only 1 acre and surface fishing during the summer months will provide good sport with the carp.
The Stock Pond is a small pond that has a good head of smaller fish present but can offer frantic action, especially good for beginners and youngsters who want some easy fishing.
Willow Pool is a small water adjacent to the owner’s house that, although small, holds some reasonably big carp.
