Anglers already know the Big Lake for the quantity and quality of its residents, which include carp to 48lb and a big population of 30lb+ fish, the bulk of which are commons. Additionally, tench and bream are present, both of which reach a weight of 16lb, while pike reach a weight of 36lb.
This 14-acre tree-lined lake features islands, bars, and plateaus, as well as depths ranging from two to seventeen feet. It is a weedy lake in the summer and quite rich in natural food, so if you want a challenge and the chance to catch a 40lb+ common or double figure Tench or Bream, here is the lake for you.
Finally, it is one of the most outstanding specimen waters in the South East of England.
