Ford Lake is a haven for fishermen seeking a site in which a quill float would not appear out of place. It measures 5 acres in size and features a large island on one side. While the lake is heavily stocked with carp to well over 20lb, it is truly great for float and feeder anglers looking for huge tench and bream, both of which have been taken in double digits.
Additionally, rudd, roach, perch, and some very large pike are present, and we have just imported a strong population of carp weighing between 2 and 5 pounds.
For further protection, this lake is enclosed and gated. Over the road on Lunsford Lane is the main car park.
