There are several fantastic carp fishing spots in Kent. If you're searching for a new personal best carp, look no further than Cackle Hill Lakes, where the fishery record now sits at a monstrous 43 pounds. We could not find many fisheries which allowed fishing for free, however Ashby Farms fishery do sometimes let local fisherman fish their lakes for free. There are also a number of stretches of rivers which can also fished for free.

There is a large number of fishing clubs operating in Kent, some of the main ones are Cranbrook & District Angling Club, Bromley & District Angling Society (BDAS) and D.D.A.P.S. All of which offer a wide selection of lakes and rivers to fish.
